LOUISE

Logistics and innovative services for urban regions (Smart Services World II technology programme)

A regional Internet of services and things that binds purchasing power in certain regions – "LOUISE" is developing a platform that links the Internet-based movement of goods, including the logistics behind it, in the model city of Bottrop. The result is a city infrastructure and a network consisting of private households, the over-the-counter retail trade in the region, local service providers and logistics companies. The innovative approach of the platform is the linking and central use of previously separate modules as well as the development of innovative logistics modules.
