GeniusTex

Innovative B2B Platform for Smart Textiles (Smart Services World II technology programme)

Several industries need to work together to produce smart textiles: the textile, the electronics and the software industries. To this end, the "GeniusTex" project establishes the basis for a collaborative platform. The successful establishment of a digital network makes it possible to, for example, create clothes, ortheses, bracelets or mattresses that can collect data on body functions and movements with the aid of sensors and conductive yarn and then pass them on for evaluation. Areas of application include medical technology, sports sciences, safety monitoring and intuitive operating concepts.
