SMile

Smart last-mile logistics in urban and rural areas (Smart Services World II technology programme)

"SMile" develops an IoT-based solution to make the delivery of parcels to the recipient more efficient, reliable and, in particular, more flexible than before. The project partners rely on a sustainable "crowd approach" which networks logistics companies, parcel shops and recipients in an intelligent way via a platform and combines their existing resources in the best possible way. In addition, this approach is beneficial for the environment.
