AI-Storytelling

AI-supported knowledge transfer to combat the shortage of skilled labour

Project description:

The core objective of the project is to optimise the efficiency of employees in companies in a targeted manner through improved knowledge management and thus strengthen the competitiveness of companies. In particular, expert and empirical knowledge in industry, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), is to be efficiently recorded and made available intelligently with the help of AI support. The integration of narrative methods and the use of AI-supported assistance systems in the workplace offers great potential for innovation and is to be utilised for operational knowledge management and its user interface in the production environment.

Technical and methodological dialogue models for knowledge documentation and transfer between the AI co-pilot and users will be developed in a participatory manner. The link between knowledge modules and assets will be implemented using the digital twin in the form of the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). The user interface is designed to be multimodal and includes guided dialogue, voice control combined with a touchscreen and AR augmented reality glasses (augmented reality). In order to avoid undesirable effects in the digitalised knowledge or the provision of knowledge by the AI co-pilot, preventive and reactive measures for the avoidance and monitoring of bias and hallucinations are also identified and implemented.
