GreenTech innovation competition - Digital technologies as a lever for the circular economy

Call for funding based on the "Development of digital technologies" funding programme

The submission deadline is closed. You will receive further information shortly.

Key aspects of the programme
The funding call "GreenTech innovation competition - Digital technologies as a lever for the circular economy" aims to reduce or overcome obstacles on the way to a circular economy with the help of digital technologies. Solutions are sought for challenges such as product design or product development as well as for increased economic efficiency and better data availability. Funding is provided for the development and prototype testing of digital solutions that can remove key hurdles in the circular economy, for example through AI systems, digital twins or the integration of the digital product passport.

Project proposals should provide concrete and innovative impetus for the digital transformation towards a functioning circular economy. Above all, the projects should enable the transfer of knowledge and technology from research to industry, especially to SMEs, and develop spill-over effects. The call for funding is open to all sectors and technologies. Both the current state of research and technology as well as the effects of digital technologies on the entire value, supply and recycling chains and, where applicable, related sectors are to be taken into account.

Application
Submit your project proposals online via PT-Outline: https://ptoutline.eu/app/GREENTECH-2. The deadline is 24 March 2025, 12:00 noon (cut-off deadline). Further information on how to apply can be found in the call for proposals and the funding programme.

Information and networking
Those interested in funding are requested to form consortia for the application. To support the search for potential partners, a virtual information and networking event will take place on 14 February 2025 from 09:30 - 12:30 via Webex. This offers the opportunity to clarify questions about the call for funding and to get to know potential partners for consortia.
