Supplementary Research

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action has entrusted the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) at VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH, Berlin, with the supplementary research for the Smart Data Economy programme. The tasks of the supplementary research include ensuring the efficient and successful work of the consortium projects, advising them on how to achieve synergy effects and communicating the results of the programme and the projects professionally and in a way that is appropriate for the target groups. Further partners within the supplementary research are the KI Bundesverband e.V. and LHLK Agentur für Kommunikation (LHLK).

Project Management Agency

The project management agency at the German Aerospace Centre implements the funding projects in accordance with the applicable funding guidelines for various federal ministries in terms of both technical and organisational aspects and is thus a central and indispensable component in the ministries' project funding system.
