CultLab3D
3D scanner for cultural artifacts
The CultLab3D project is generating high-quality, 3D scans of cultural artifacts. In this project, a unique new scan technology is being developed in the form of a mobile digitisation laboratory. Furthermore, an ontology is to be drawn up to record and classify cultural artifacts. The digital 3D artifacts are also to be connected via their descriptions to digital libraries. The quality of the data is also sufficient to meet scientific demands which up to now have called for the original to be physically available.
