Knowledge transfer to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
As a knowledge platform for SMEs, the forum organizes roadshows throughout Germany to inform about trends and developments in the area of digital technologies.
The conference series “smarter_mittelstand” has been imparting compact and practical knowledge about digitalization since 2016. As a partner of the initiative, Forum Digital Technologies helps to prepare medium-sized enterprises for challenges of future digital topics.
As part of the project, a “SME Onboarding Factory” is currently being developed and managed as a hub for the engineering of digital business models. The SME Onboarding Factory aims to support small and medium-sized companies, also known as “Mittelstand” in Germany, to develop their own platform business models and smart services.
