NaLamKI – Sustainable Agriculture using AI

The aim of NaLamKI is to develop a cloud-based SaaS platform with open interfaces for providers from the upstream and downstream sectors of agriculture, industry, as well as service providers of special applications in crop production. Aggregating sensor and machine data obtained via remote sensing, soil sensing, robotics, manual data collection and inventory data creates a valuable data pool from which agricultural processes, such as irrigation, fertilisation and pest control, can be optimised in a more sustainable, efficient, and transparent manner using state-of-the-art AI methods and (partially) autonomous vehicle and agent networks. By establishing an International Data Space for Agriculture (IDSA) and GAIA-X compliant services, the platform will act interoperably between different central and decentralised cloud providers and users while always maintaining data sovereignty for all stakeholders along the agricultural value chain.
