PlanQK – Platform and Ecosystem for Quantum assisted Artificial Intelligence
A revolution for AI

Innovative AI applications need huge amounts of computing power. The often very complex problems push even powerful computers to the limits of practical computability. Thanks to new computational models, quantum computers offer many times the performance of conventional computer models and computational methods. The PlanQK project aims to combine AI and quantum computing by preparing AI applications to run on quantum computers. To achieve this, a platform for quantum-assisted artificial intelligence – QKI – is now being developed. SMEs, in particular, are then to be given access to QKI.
