SMEs sought for innovative technology projects: Germany and Singapore issue a joint call for proposals

Germany and Singapore have announced the 5th call for proposals for collaborative research and development projects. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are invited to apply for funding to develop innovative products, processes, or technical services in all technology and application areas until September 20.

The Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM) funds research and development projects in Germany with the aim of creating new products, services, or processes with significant market potential. These projects are expected to generate marketable technological innovations that align with the current international state of the art.

Funding is provided in collaboration with the government agency Enterprise Singapore, which supports Singaporean project partners. The call invites partners to submit joint proposals for technological research and development projects. Each project must involve at least one medium-sized company from Singapore and one from Germany, both of which must make substantial contributions. The participation of other companies and research institutions as partners or subcontractors is also possible.

Interested parties are encouraged to contact the relevant national funding agency at an early stage. Enterprise Singapore serves as the contact point for Singapore, while AiF Projekt GmbH fulfills this role in Germany.
