Generative AI assistants for the media, cultural and creative sectors

Project description:

Everyday editorial work is still characterised by time-consuming processes that require manual research and integration of multimodal materials as well as tedious checking of quality and legal requirements. The project therefore taps into the innovative potential of generative AI for SMEs - small and medium-sized enterprises - with three new generative AI assistants:
(1) for "Generating multimodal media formats for culture, politics and education",
(2) for "Standards and regulations in the media sector" and
(3) for "demonstrators for the creative/cultural sector" to effectively support editorial work. The AI assistants can be used dynamically for a wide range of tasks and do not have to be programmed individually for each task and target group, as was previously the case. The basis for the assistants is an innovative further development of AI technologies through plug-ins for knowledge organisation and transparency of LLMs.

The application partners rbb and dpa contribute practical usage scenarios and validate the new assistants. The consortium is planning a collaborative and individual commercialisation of the resulting solution, with each of the SME, small and medium-sized enterprise and industry partners addressing in particular their existing customers and partners in their own target markets.
