QC Next: How software is putting quantum computing into practice

The final report of the QC Next project demonstrates how existing approaches to quantum computing software can be integrated into a unified stack to facilitate their transfer into industrial applications. The innovation concept was developed as part of the BMWE’s ‘Development of Digital Technologies’ funding programme and was completed in March 2025. The report analyses existing solutions, discusses a possible reference architecture and provides impetus for the further promotion of industrial applications.
