Project management agency

The DLR Project Management Agency (DLR-PT) provides technical and organisational support to Federal ministries in the preparation and implementation of technology programmes, such as the AI Innovation Competition - Generative AI for SMEs, and is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the projects. This includes in particular the continuous monitoring of the projects, the review of project progress and achieved project goals as well as the follow-up of suitable utilisation strategies in the projects, especially after the end of the project. Furthermore, the project management organisation is the direct point of contact for all questions concerning, for example, changes to the work plan or changes in the consortium. On behalf of the BMFTR, the DLR-PT also organises dialogue processes with experts at national and international level in various subject areas - including funding projects. These serve the purpose of networking and form an important basis for new funding initiatives.
