"Generative AI for SMEs" - Kick-off event on 18 June 2025 at the Forum Digital Technologies in Berlin

Generative AI is currently dominating discussions about the digital transformation of the economy in science and politics alike. Generative AI can be used to realise a wide range of potential that can sustainably improve Germany's competitiveness as a business location. While the solutions are already increasingly being incorporated into the business processes of large companies, SMEs are finding it much more difficult to profitably integrate generative AI into business practice. This is where the BMWE's "Generative AI for SMEs" technology programme comes in.

The 10 funded projects deal with various multimodal generative AI tools in different fields of application such as knowledge management, standards and standardisation, process optimisation and quality assurance. In this way, they support the transfer of new solutions to SMEs.
