Location:Nuremberg

The embedded world Conference is a leading global conference at the interface between applied research and industrial applications. The 21st edition of the embedded world Exhibition & Conference will take place in Nuremberg from 14 to 16 March 2023 under the motto "embedded.responsible.sustainable".

On March 15, the consortium of the strategic stand-alone project SMART will hold its own SMART session at the embedded World Conference. During this session, the SMART project partners will shed light on the smart service transformation of companies from different perspectives and present the Smart Service Ma-turity Index developed in the project for the first time in public:
- Henning Klagermann's presentation on the future of value creation from a strategic perspective will draw a line from the paradigm of Industry 4.0 via the servitisation of value creation to the opportunity field of smart services.
- Roman Dumitrescu will provide insights from application-oriented research on the potential and pain points of the entrepreneurial smart service transformation and assess its significance for Germany as a business location.
- Martin Rabe will present the Smart Service Maturity Index for the first time in public - a maturity model that systematically locates companies with regard to their smart service transformation and offers the possibility of sustainably supporting the servitisation of German production companies via an actual target analysis and the development of a roadmap.
- A subsequent panel discussion will offer the opportunity to deepen the contents raised and to interact with the audience.
