The aim of the "Smart Data Economy" technology programme is to support research and development projects with a lighthouse character, which develop and test novel intelligent solutions such as data products and systems, data services derived from them and data-based business models.
Digital data management and AI-based systems are to be considered in an integrated way. Important and new basic technologies for this are selected artificial intelligence methods (e.g. methods for machine learning), data technologies or methods for the secure use of data in distributed systems (e.g. using distributed ledger technology - DLT).
The "Smart Data Economy" programme is a technology programme for application-oriented research to promote leading edge digital technologies. In the area of data economy, it will contribute to the exploitation of the opportunities offered by digital change in the application areas.
