BML Ecosys – Bauhaus.MobilityLab Erfurt

Smart AI district

In the Bauhaus.MobilityLab, the Brühl district of the city of Erfurt is serving as a real-life laboratory to develop and test a variety of AI-based applications: Traffic lights are switched in response to traffic volume, deliveries are more customer-oriented, local energy generation reduces electricity costs and smart pricing systems determine the charging price for electric cars. The applications are being developed and provided on a cloud platform that brings data from different fields, such as transport, logistics and energy together.
