Artificial intelligence and networked data technologies for infectious and other crises threatening the economy

Models and methods for assessing and evaluating economic, health and socio-political consequences as well as deriving measures and options for action - preventively and in a crisis

With the third funding call, projects based on digital technologies in the areas of prevention and management of infectious and other threatening crisis situations were sought, which are suitable for strengthening the resilience of the economy and, in this context, protecting the health of the population. In particular, concrete solutions are to be demonstrated with which current and future crisis situations can be better controlled by means of data technologies and artificial intelligence. If possible, it should be possible to transfer corresponding solutions - beyond the challenges of the current COVID 19 pandemic - for prevention and emergencies to everyday situations in order to create added value and prospects for new business models in the economy.
