Projektfilm GreenIT Cockpit: Measuring Energy Consumption of Business Processes
How to visualize the energy consumption of business processes? With the example of the online version of the Hamburger Abendblatt’s production the project movie of the IT2Green Project GreenIT Cockpit shows how energy consumption of business processes can be measured and illustrated. In order to do so the information from the different systems of the ICT (computing center, network infrastructure and peripherals) is gathered by GreenIT Cockpit and broken down into an easy to interpret form that can be used for strategic planning and improving of the company’s ICT-based energy efficiency.
